Baby Massage

Baby Massage for Nannies

Teach your nanny how to massage your little one

The benefits of massage:

  • Helps with the bonding between nanny and baby
  • Massage gives a sense of security and well being to the baby
  • Massage is calming, especially helpful for colic to help with digestion, and helps soothe a baby who cannot settle easily.
  • Baby learns to experience pleasure.
  • Nonverbal communication between the nanny and child is enhanced.
  • One can massage baby every day for short periods (5 minutes), choosing a time when baby is not hungry or tired, and about half an hour after a feed, once baby feels comfortable and safe.

Nannies are invited to come and attend the course. We practice on baby mannequins.

Please email Karin@supernannies.co.za if you would like to send your nanny on a baby massage course.
